Star Trek has always privileged diversity over monoculture, and we do the same here. The rules are simple: don't be a dick.

Offer your fellow Trekkies the same kind of deference you would a good friend. There's room for all kinds of points of view, and if what you're about to post isn't something you'd want your mother to hear, it's probably left unsaid. Disagreement is both welcome and encouraged, but remember that your target is an idea, not the person behind it.
